NC MLAs protest inside Assembly with placards reading “Free MLA Mehraj Malik”

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 23 (STC): Just before the start of the autumn session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today, the National Conference (NC) legislators joined by Congress MLA Nizamuddin held a silent protest inside the Assembly, demanding the release of AAP MLA Mehraj Malik.
Reportedly, the protest took place before the start of the Assembly proceedings to draw attention to Malik’s detention.
NC legislators held placards and observed a brief sit-in, urging the government to ensure Malik’s immediate release. The placards read: “Free MLA Mehraj Malik.”
