SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 24 (STC): Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra was a friend of J&K; his contribution in Indian cinema will never be forgotten, said Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah while condoling his death.
“People of my age have grown while watching his movies. His death is a big loss to Indian cinema,” Omar Abdullah told reporters.
He recalled that the veteran actor had a special bond with Kashmir and had visited the Valley several times, not just for film shoots but also for vacations.
“He used to come to Kashmir not only for movies but also for his holidays,” the Chief Minister said, adding that the actor’s passing has left a void in the hearts of film lovers across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir.
