Police arrests driver of Scorpio which hit CBI prosecutor’s car arrested

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 27 (STC): The vehicle involved in the accident in which Advocate Sheikh Adil Nabi, Prosecutor in CBI was killed has been seized and the accused driver, identified as Mohammad Shafi of Nadirgund Peerbagh, Tehsil Chanpora, Srinagar, has also been arrested.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Arun Gupta, has confirmed the reports. He said an FIR number 139/2025 has been registered at Police Station Banihal under sections 281 and 125A of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and further investigation has been set into motion.
It’s pertinent to mention that an Alto K-10 car driven by Advocate Sheikh Adil Nabi was hit by a Scorpio vehicle (JK-01BB-2625) in Banihal causing death of Prosecutor later in the hospital.
