Government contemplating to bring Google, Microsoft Like companies in J&K, to create jobs: Satish Sharma

Jammu and Kashmir government is contemplating to bring reputed national and international companies to Jammu and Kashmir, including global technology firms such as Google and Microsoft, to expand job avenues for local youth.
This was stated today by senior leader Satish Sharma while talking to media outside the Assembly. He said the government has set a target of generating 50,000 private sector jobs over the next four years in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also reiterated the government’s promise to regularize daily wagers within one year, stating that the issue remains a priority for the administration. “It is our commitment that daily wagers will be regularized within a year,” he said, adding that necessary policy measures are being worked out to address their long-pending demands.
He criticized the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board for collecting examination fees from unemployed youth, terming the practice burdensome for job aspirants.
He said the government is examining ways to ease financial strain on applicants seeking government employment.
