CM Omar Abdullah assures adequate fuel stock; urges public not to create panic

: Jammu and Kashmir is not facing shortage of fuel and people should not rush to petrol pumps due to rumours, said Chief Minister Onar Abdullah while appealing the public to maintain calm and avoid forming long queues outside fuel stations.
The Chief Minister cautioned that if the rush continues due to misinformation, the government may be forced to temporarily shut petrol pumps to control the situation.
He said the government is closely monitoring developments and assured that fuel supplies remain adequate across the country.
Referring to a meeting convened by Narendra Modi, the chief minister said discussions would be held on the situation in Iran and surrounding regions, and measures to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities if the situation prolongs.
