BNMPS in Sangam organises cross country run to spread awareness against drug abuse

SRINAGAR, MAY 09 (STC):
Baba Naseeb-u-Din Memorial Public School, Sangam organised Cross Country Run today to spread awareness against drug abuse and to promote a healthy drug free society.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Showkat Ahmad Dar, SP North. Flag off ceremony was held by Prof. Khurshid Andrabi, ex vice chancellor Kashmir University.
Dignatories present were Zaheer Mangas, SHO Sangam, Shahid Imran of Kashmir Crown, Dr. Hilal Ahmad, Professor Central University besides the school Chairman and Principal.

Zaheer Mangas, SHO Sangam, delivered an insightful address on the growing menace of drug abuse and urged students to adopt a disciplined and healthy lifestyle. He emphasised the collective responsibility of society in safeguarding the younger generation from social evils.
Shahid Imran of Kashmir Crown, in his motivating speech, encouraged students to channel their energy towards education, sports, and constructive activities. He appreciated the initiative taken by the school in organising the event to spread awareness for a drug-free society.
The students participated enthusiastically in the programme, and gold, silver, and bronze medal holders across all six categories were felicitated during the event.
