Nepal Floods: Death toll mounts to 675, over2,400 still missing: Report

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 39 (STC): The death toll from the roaring flash floods in Nepal has risen to 675, according to the country’s disaster management authority.
The floods have caused massive destruction with extensive damage done to numerous houses and buildings, along with roads and bridges.
Several thousand individuals have been reported missing and thousands of people are displaced from their homes or stuck, as the search, rescue, and relief operations, which are carried out by teams of Nepal Army, Police, and Armed Police Force along with rescue helicopters, is underway in the flood ravaged regions. The teams are searching for their counterparts, save the marooned locals and deliver required supply and help to save and help people in need.
