J&K Bank soon advertising 1400 posts: MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee

The recruitment is for local domiciles, including Ladakh.

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 03 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Bank is going for a major recruitment drive in coming weeks following the approval of 1400 posts by its Board. The advertisement for the said number of posts will be issued in the coming weeks, said the reports Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee.
The MD &CEO said the recruitment will be focused on candidates holding J&K domicile, while around 40 positions will be available to residents of Ladakh.
The detailed advertisement, including the number and nature of posts, eligibility criteria and selection process, is expected to be issued in the coming weeks.
It’s notable, the Bank’s MD has already stated that the recruitment will remain locally focused, providing an opportunity to candidates from Jammu and Kashmir. He also said a separate provision has been made for Ladakh.
