LG Sinha lauds Armed Forces medical team for restoring eye sight to 220 patients in Tangdhar, Karnah

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 26 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, congratulated the Armed Forces medical team for organising a mega eye surgical camp in the border area of ​​Tangdhar-Karnah under “Operation Drishti”. The LG said that restoring the eyesight of 220 people by setting up an underground operation theater in a difficult border area like Tangdhar-Karnah is a remarkable achievement.
He said that under “Operation Drishti”, the expert surgeons and other medical staff of the Armed Forces Medical Services demonstrated their professional skills and spirit of humanitarian service in extremely difficult conditions.
Notably, this mega eye surgical camp was led by Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra.
The Lieutenant Governor further said that the dedication and services of the medical team reflect the true spirit of “Operation Sadbhavana”. The provision of modern eye treatment and complex surgical facilities in remote border settlements is a symbol of the determination to ensure that no citizen is deprived of medical facilities.
