Class 10th, 11th exams scheduled for Wednesday (August 27) postponed: JKBOSE

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 26 (STC): All Class 10th and 11th exams scheduled for Wednesday, August 27 have been postponed.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), fresh dates will be announced separately.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department had warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall in several parts of Jammu, including Kathua, Samba, Doda, Jammu, Ramban and Kishtwar.
In Kashmir, southern districts witnessed moderate to heavy rain, while higher reaches recorded intense downpours. Although no flood alert was issued for the Jhelum, its water levels were expected to increase. Central Kashmir reported light to moderate showers, and parts of north Kashmir saw either mild rainfall or dry conditions.
Notably, all schools, both government and private, remained closed in the Jammu division due to the worsening weather.
