All BJP MLAs meet in Srinagar to discuss assembly by-poll strategy

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 12 (STC
): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs, 28 in number, have held an important meeting today in Srinagar to discuss the strategy for the upcoming by-elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
This was disclosed to the media by the Leader of Opposition and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma.
He said the meeting was convened after the BJP Parliamentary Board announced three candidates for the bypolls scheduled on October 24. “Among the announced names are our State President Satya Sharma, Senior Leader and Vice President Rakesh Mahajan, and Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir from Budgam,” Sharma said.
He added that the meeting aimed to complete necessary formalities for nomination papers and to prepare a detailed campaign strategy. “The focus is on ensuring BJP’s victory on all three seats. Today’s meeting is purely about planning and coordination,” Sharma said.
