Police arrests two terror associates in Magam

BUDGAM, OCTOBER 16 (STC)
: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two “terror associates” from the Aripathan area of the Budgam district. According to the police, these arrests were made after credible intelligence inputs indicated the movement of individuals involved in unlawful activities.
During the operation, as per the police, incriminating material, including posters of the banned outfit The Resistance Front (TRF), were recovered from their possession. The recovered material has been taken into custody for detailed examination to determine its origin and intended use.
A case has been registered at Police Station Magam, and further investigation is underway to trace other individuals who may be linked with the arrested associates. “We are analysing the recovered material and working on multiple leads to establish their connections. The operation has successfully prevented potential attempts to disturb peace and public order in the area,” a senior police officer said.
