CM Omar lying through his teeth, says Sajad Lone for his free electricity claim

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 17 (STC): Soon after Omar-led government completed its one year in office, MLA Sajad Gani Lone launched a series of attacks on the Chief Minister, accusing him of misleading the public over his promise to provide 200 units of free electricity.
Reacting to Abdullah’s statement, Lone said the issue was no longer about free electricity but about “the Chief Minister lying through his teeth.”
“Now this is no longer about free 200 units of electricity. This is now about CM sahib lying through his teeth. The comparison between the pre- and post-election videos of CM sahib about smart meters unambiguously and digitally nails the lies and deception,” Lone said in a post on X.
He further said that Abdullah’s changing stance on the smart meter issue had exposed his duplicity. “Mark my words — this is the ‘coffee and toffee’ moment for CM sahib for all times to come,” he added.
