SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 04 (STC): Pakistan-based terrorists have been sternly warned by Union Home Minister Amit Shah against repeating any attack on India. Speaking at an election rally in Darbhanga-Motihari, Bihar, the Home Minister said that any terrorist act will be met with a powerful response.
“If they fire bullets, they will face cannons,” Shah said.
He said that terrorists from Pakistan had attacked civilians in Pahalgam, erasing the sindoor from the foreheads of India’s mothers and sisters. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ within 20 days to avenge that attack. The Indian Army neutralised the terrorists on Pakistani soil,” he added.
He announced that the Defence Corridor being developed in Bihar will produce weapons and ammunition that will be used against such terrorists.
Criticising the previous Congress government, Shah said that the Modi administration is fully committed to India’s security and sovereignty.
He also hit out at RJD leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav for allegedly glorifying the late gangster-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin, saying that the people of Bihar will never allow the return of “jungle raj.”
