DSEK urges teachers to work for progress of children

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 08 (STC)
: Director School Education Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad Wani, has urged teachers to work with full dedication for the progress of children. At the same time, he said staff training and improved equipment are important to strengthen the education system.
He said, “Our main concern is children. We have to work hard for the bright future of our children,” the Director said during his visit to District Anantnag.
He called on teachers to treat school students like their own children and to make every effort to improve learning standards. “Just like we work hard for our own children, we should work hard for our students as well,” he said.
He added that any shortcomings should be addressed collectively by the teaching community.
Commenting on the ongoing matriculation and higher secondary examinations, Wani said the department is committed to maintaining transparency. “The capable students should not feel that their merit is being harmed,” he said. He extended his best wishes to students appearing in exams.
