CIK conducts searches across Kashmir to nab terror operatives misusing SIM cards

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 09 (STC): The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK), a specialised unit of Jammu and Kashmir conducted searches at various places in three districts in the valley today, said official reports.
The searches have been conducted in connection with misuse of SIM cards by terror operatives, the reports said.
“The CIK is carrying out searches at Kulgam, Kunzer (Baramulla) and Shopian as part of the investigation into misuse of SIM cards by anti-national elements,” the officials said.
The reports reveal that the CIK sleuths have seized some SIM cards during the searches. However, no arrests have been made so far.
