Iran embassy expresses special gratitude to Kashmiris for solidarity, humanitarian support

SRINAGAR, MARCH 23 (STC): The Iranian Embassy in India has expressed special gratitude to the people of Kashmir during this difficult period.
In a message on X platform, the embassy posted: “With hearts full of gratitude, we sincerely thank the kind people of Kashmir for standing with the people of Iran through their humanitarian support and heartfelt solidarity; this kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you, India.”
The embassy highlighted gestures from individuals in Kashmir that it said reflected a deep emotional connection.
It noted that a young Kashmiri girl was seen donating her “Bighwar” (piggy bank).
“Even Kashmiri children are offering their piggy banks as gifts to Iran. God bless you,” the embassy posted.
In another instance, the embassy shared a video of an elderly woman who donated gold she had preserved for 28 years as a memory of her late husband.
The gesture was described by the embassy as a powerful act of solidarity with the people of Iran.
“Your tears and pure emotions are the greatest source of comfort for the people of Iran and will never be forgotten. Thank you #Kashmir. Thank you #India,” the embassy added.
