Weather in Kashmir expected to remain pleasant over next 10 days

SRINAGAR, MAY 26 (STC); Day temperatures across Kashmir are likely to remain near normal levels during the next 10 days, though a few days may witness temperatures slightly above average by a few degrees, said a weather report.
The intermittent weather activity is expected to prevent any major rise, keeping overall conditions pleasant with no significant heatwave threat in sight, adds the report.
Meanwhile, in Jammu plains, the report states that the temperatures are likely to rise further on Wednesday before witnessing a decline From Thursday onwards. “A sharper drop in temperatures is possible on Friday and Saturday. The rising trend may begin again from May 31 onwards,” reads the report.
