Terror attack in Kulgam leaves one non-local labourer dead, another injured

SRINAGAR, JULY 31 (STC): A non-local worker was killed and another injured after terrorists opened fire on them in Kulgam district today evening, officials said.
Details of the incident state that the two labourers were reportedly targeted by terrorists. The victims have been identified as Deepak and Bupender Kumar, both residents of Chhattisgarh.
Officials said Deepak sustained critical injuries and was declared brought dead at a hospital, while Bupender Kumar was shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC), Anantnag, where he is undergoing treatment.
Soon after the incident, security forces rushed to the area, sealed all exit routes and launched a massive search operation to trace the attackers, officials said.
