Reports of Internal differences in National Conference baseless, says Cabinet Minister Javed Dar

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31 (STC): Terming the reports of differences in the National Conference as baseless, Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Dar clarified that rumors are being spread only for TRP. Talking to media, Cabinet Minister Javed Dar said that there is no disappointment or difference in the National Conference. He urged the media to avoid speculation and rumours.
He said, “There is no such thing. No one is angry. Our leaders are strong and their team is also strong.”
Expressing support for the decisions taken by the party leadership, Javed Dar said that the National Conference has seen such decisions in the past and the party members are ready to accept the decisions of the leadership. He gave the example of the year 2012 and said that at that time eight ministers were asked to take charge of party affairs and this decision was also accepted by the party. Javed Dar said, “Whatever decision our leaders take, we are ready to accept it and we should do the same. We have seen this before. In 2012, eight ministers were asked to take charge of the party and except for a few people from Jammu, all the rest are still in the party., he said. He termed the National Conference as a prominent and disciplined political party and said that the party is united and there is no rift in it.
Asked about the recent statements of Srinagar MP Agha Ruhullah Mehdi, Javed Dar said that he has cordial relations with Agha Ruhullah and considers him his colleague and brother.
