Kashmiri Pandits integral part of Kashmi’s society, culture, and future: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30 (STC): Kashmiri Pandits are not outsiders but an integral part of the Valley’s society, culture, and future, said Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while making a fresh appeal for their return and rehabilitation.
He said the community is “our own people” and forms an inseparable thread of Kashmir’s composite history and pluralistic ethos.
“We have said this repeatedly, and we will continue our efforts. I hope the government will also persist with its initiatives,” Mirwaiz said.
He termed any threats against the community as “deeply unfortunate” and stressed the need to preserve Kashmir’s traditional spirit of co-existence.
