Govt orders major reshuffle in Anti Corruption Bureau; two SSP-rank officers repatriated

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31 (STC): A major reshuffle in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Hhas been ordered by the Jammu and Kashmir government involving transfers, promotions, fresh postings and repatriation of officers to the Home Department.
SSP Zahoor Ahmad Wani and SSP Ayaz Ahmad Sheikh, both serving in the ACB, have been repatriated to the Home Department for further posting. Both officer were serving in ACB since long and did outstanding work during their postings.
Meanwhile Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, JKPS, presently Additional SP, SIA Kashmir, has been transferred and posted in the ACB against a vacant post, while Mudasir Ahmed Tramboo, JKPS, presently Dy.SP in the ACB, has been promoted and posted as SP, ACB J&K.
Four Dy.SPs — Umer Rashid, Swati Sharma, Showkat Zarger and Manzoor Ahmad — have also been posted in the ACB against available vacancies. ACB Inspectors Ashwani Kumar Angotra and Yog Raj have been promoted as Dy.SPs and posted in the ACB. Three other Dy.SPs serving in the ACB, Sagar Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Narinder Singh, have been repatriated to the Home Department for further assignment.
