J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha concludes USA tour, returns to Srinagar

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 15 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has returned to Srinagar after a week-long visit to the United States. After his return to Jammu and Kashmir, deliberations on important matters of the administration are likely to intensify in the coming days.
Sources say that various matters pending during his absence can be taken up on priority basis. Sources further reveal, the administration will take a detailed review of such matters that require final decisions or further action. The relevant departments may also be asked for an update on the status and progress of these matters, after which decisions are likely to be taken as required.
However, the sources did not disclose the nature, number of these matters or the details of possible decisions related to them.
Notably, the return of the Lieutenant Governor is being termed as an important development in terms of administration, as in his presence, various sensitive and important matters are likely to be directly reviewed at a high level and necessary instructions are likely to be issued to the concerned officers.
According to sources, the high-level activities of the administration may pick up pace in the coming days and the functioning of various departments, pending files and important policy and administrative matters may be reviewed.
