Union Home Ministry delegation arrives in Srinagar, holds important meetings with UT authorities

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 03 (STC): A high-level team of the Union Home Ministry held a special meeting in Srinagar in which various issues related to Jammu and Kashmir were discussed, said news agency reports.
According to the reports, a high-level delegation of the Union Home Ministry has reached Srinagar to review important administrative, developmental and other related issues of Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation attended an important meeting at the Sher Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC), in which senior officers of the Jammu and Kashmir administration were also present.
According to sources, various important aspects related to Jammu and Kashmir were discussed in detail during the meeting. It is reported that the meeting reviewed various issues including the current situation of the region, administrative matters, development activities and progress of various central projects.
The meeting was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atul Dallo and other senior officials of the administration. The Union Home Ministry officials received information from the concerned authorities about the progress of various initiatives and projects underway in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said that the objective of the meeting was to ensure better coordination between the Central and UT administrations on various important issues related to Jammu and Kashmir and to review the progress of ongoing initiatives. During this, a detailed briefing was also given by the concerned departments on various issues. The officials also considered the ongoing works in various sectors, the problems faced and the steps taken to complete them within the stipulated time frame.
However, the details of all the issues discussed in the meeting have not been immediately released officially.
