Govt to decide on Khelo India Games amid fresh snowfall at Gulmarg: Minister Satish Sharma

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 27 (STC): The government will take a decision on hosting the Khelo India Games in Gulmarg if the snowfall continues for another day, Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma said today.
“It is good that Kashmir has been receiving snowfall for the last few days. If there is three feet of snow at Gulmarg, we will hold a meeting on Friday to decide on hosting the Khelo India Games,” the minister said.
He said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is keen on conducting winter sports in the region.
It’s worth mentioning thathe Khelo India Games were recently postponed due to inadequate snowfall at Gulmarg. (STC)
