Exclusive web portal for terror victim families in J&K put in place for transparent and faster processing of relief measures

: Jammu and Kashmir government has put in place an online mechanism for terrorism affected families in the region to ensure transparent and faster processing of relief to them. In this regard, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today launched a web portal to support the families affected by terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an official post on ‘X’ platform, the initiative aims to streamline and expedite the process of providing relief, compassionate appointments, and other forms of assistance to those who have suffered due to terrorism in the Union Territory.
The web portal has been developed by the Home Department in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC). It will serve as a centralized platform to capture and maintain comprehensive district-wise data of terrorism-affected families in Jammu and Kashmir.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said he is personally monitoring and overseeing the redressal of all cases across the UT to ensure timely support to the victims and their families.
