Fraudester manages uploading fake order on official website of H&ME department, dupes several job aspirants

: A fake ‘official’ notification uploaded on the Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department’s official website has resulted in a major job fraud, where several job aspirants have been duped.
According to the reports, a government employee, identified as Mohd Shafi Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Tulmulla Yan Goora, Ganderbal, posted at the Civil Secretariat Srinagar has allegedly managed to draft a forged official order and got it uploaded on the official website of the Health and Medical Education Department, lending it an air of authenticity.
According to victims, the accused allegedly collected large sums of money from multiple individuals with the promise of securing them government jobs.
In a recent incident, he reportedly issued fake appointment letters and identity cards to at least four aspirants, who were even made to report for duty at SMHS Hospital and other health institutions in Srinagar.
The victims have urged the government to take stern action against the accused. At the same time the incident has raised serious questions about internal vigilance and system, as the accused allegedly managed to upload fake notifications on the official website.
