CIK raids, searches multiple locations in Shopian and Kulgam

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13 (STC): As part of its investigation into militancy and alleged subversive activities, the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) conducted searches at several residential locations in Shopian and Kulgam districts of south Kashmir.
Officials said a team of CIK searched a residential house located in Nayidgam of Shopian district. It has been said that this operation was carried out as part of the ongoing investigation, however, further details related to the case were not immediately released by the authorities.
Meanwhile, CIK personnel also conducted searches at a residential house in Ladgo Rambhama area of ​​Kulgam district.
According to sources, the operations carried out at both the locations are related to the investigation of a case in which investigation is being carried out regarding alleged subversive activities.
Sources said that the search operations were carried out in the presence of the concerned Executive Magistrate. During the operation, a thorough search of the residential premises was conducted and evidence or other materials allegedly related to the investigation were searched.
However, the CIK or other relevant authorities have not yet clarified what items were recovered or seized during the searches and whether any person has been detained for questioning.
