Discussion on public issues should continue in Assembly: Dr. Farooq Abdullah

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 30 (STC): National Conference President and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that the debate and discussion in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly should continue so that the issues related to the people can be raised in the House and their solutions can be found.
“It is a positive thing that the members of the assembly are raising questions related to various issues and the government is answering them. This is a very good thing. Members can speak and the government answers their questions,” Dr. Farooq Abdullah said abd added that “Assemblies and Parliament are for debate and discussion.” He expressed hope that the House will continue its proceedings in the same manner.
He said, “May God continue this way, people continue to discuss issues and work for the betterment of the people.”
He also said, “Kashmir has changed in a very good way.”
