J&K LG Sinha remembers Maharaja Hari Singh an “enlightened statesman and progressive thinker”

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 23 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has paid tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh on his birth anniversary. Calling him an “enlightened statesman and progressive thinker”, the LG said he ushered in far-reaching reforms for the welfare and empowerment of the people.
In a post on X, LG Sinha said the erstwhile ruler’s ideals of public service, equality and inclusive development continue to guide the region.
“Humble tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji on his Janm-Jayanti. An enlightened statesman & progressive thinker, he introduced far-reaching reforms for the welfare & empowerment of the people,” the LG said and added that the Maharaja’s ideals of public service, equality & inclusive development continue to guide all.
