Pahalgam terror attack anniversary: PM Modi reiterates zero tolerance for terror, pays tribute to victims

NEW DELHI, APRIL 22 (STC): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on the first anniversary of Pahalgam terror attack reiterated India’s zero tolerance for terror and stated that the country will never bow to any form of terror. “The heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed,” he said.
Paying glowing tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Prime Minister on his X handle posted: “Remembering the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. They will never be forgotten.”
Last year on April 22, the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba carried out an attack at Pahalgam, killing 26 innocent people, mostly tourists from across India.
In retaliation, India launched a military operation early on May 7, targeting and destroying multiple terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and PoK.
