Tricolour not just a national flag but a symbol of unity, sacrifice and dignity: PM Modi

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 10 (STC): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of the country to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tricolour’ movement with full enthusiasm and renew their commitment to play their role in building a developed India.
The tricolour is a symbol of the country’s pride, unity and national spirit and it provides a constant motivation to every citizen to use their best talents for the country, said the Prime Minister and urged the people to celebrate the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with national spirit and patriotism.
In his post on social media platform ‘X’, Modi said, “Our tricolor is our pride and it always motivates us to serve the country at its best.” He appealed to the people to participate enthusiastically in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement and further strengthen their resolve to play their collective role in building a ‘Vaksat Bharat’ i.e. a developed India.
The Prime Minister also expressed happiness that this year’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been dedicated to ‘Vande Mataram’. The country is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ this year, due to which this year’s campaign has acquired more historical and national significance.
He stressed that the tricolor is not just a national flag but a symbol of the unity, sacrifice, dignity and aspirations of the country. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every citizen to respect it and play a positive role in the development of the country.
