Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi alongwith Advocate Syed Shabir Bukhari called upon former Sadr-i-Riyasat Dr Karan Singh at Karan Mahal here today.
In a statement, Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi said that It was a rare privilege and a truly memorable experience to meet Dr. Karan Singh Ji. He said, “At 94 years of age, Dr. Karan Singh Ji, son of Maharaja Hari Singh, the last ruling Maharaja of the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir remains a remarkable statesman, scholar and an eyewitness to many defining chapters in the history of Jammu & Kashmir. Listening to his reflections and interacting with someone who has personally witnessed and lived through such significant historical events was both enlightening and inspiring. His wisdom, dignity, and deep understanding of history continue to leave a lasting impression.”
