National Conference responsible for shaping unrest in J&K, says LoP and BJP MLA Sunil Sharma

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 05 (STC): National Conference has been responsible for shaping the unrest in Jammu and Kashmir since 1931. Whether it was the situation leading to the 1989 exodus or the turmoil, NC has played a role in keeping the region in crisis.
This is what Leader of the Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma said while talking to reporters after visiting slain ex-army soldier’s home in Kulgam district of Kashmir.
Sunil Sharma visited the family today to meet the family of the martyred ex-Army soldier who was killed in Kulgam after terrorists targeted him and his family. “This is a tragic loss. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family,” he said.
He accused the National Conference of being involved in creating instability in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma assured the martyr’s family that the BJP and the government would ensure justice and provide all possible assistance.
He emphasized that such attacks would not be tolerated and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating terrorism from the Union Territory. (STC)
