Mirwaiz North demands action against persons who misled mentally challenged man in Waripora, Kunzar

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 09 (STC): Mirwaiz North Kashmir Moulana Parray Hassan Afzal Firdousi has demanded stringent legal action against those who allegedly persuaded and assisted a mentally unsound man, Abdul Razak Lone of Waripora Kunzer Baramulla in constructing a structure resembling a holy place.
Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi, who is also Chairman Mutahida Aima Forum JK and Chairman Muslim Mutahida Mahaaz JK,
was addressing a huge public gathering at Markazi Jamia Masjid Shareef Chindrima Palhalan Pattan Baramulla before Friday prayers. He appreciated the police action against Abdul Razak Lone.
He appealed to the police to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for misleading Lone, asserting that he was not capable of making such decisions independently. “It is believed that certain individuals guided and manipulated him into building the structure, using his mental instability to further their agenda,” Mirwaiz North Kashmir said in a statement issued to media.
The Mirwaiz quoted Lone’s daughter saying that her father has lost his mental balance and emphasized that the authorities must act against those who encouraged and supported him in constructing the replica of a holy place.
“However, the real culprits are those who took advantage of his condition and persuaded him to build the structure. They should be identified and arrested,” she stated.
Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi echoed similar concerns, urging law enforcement agencies to take strict action against those involved in the alleged conspiracy. They fear such incidents could create unnecessary tensions and mislead vulnerable individuals in the community. (STC)
