MP Rajya Sabha Vivek Tankha raises issues of Kashmiri Pandit in Parliament

JAMMU, MARCH 13 (STC):
Vivek Tankha MP Rajya Sabha raised Kashmiri Pandits rehabilitation issue during Zero hour in Rajya Sabha.
Speaking during Zero hour on Q. No : 15, he demanded that Kashmiri Pandits be rehabilitated and also raised voice about reopening of Sharda Peeth that lies across loC and is closed for the last 75 years. “Government must take steps to see kashmiri pandits back in valley” said Vivek Tankha.
In a press release All India Kashmiri Samaj(AIKS) thanked the MP. AIKS president Ravinder Pandita in a statement has expressed happiness the way their re settlement issues including reopening of Sharda Peeth PoK was raised by an opposition MP in parliament.
Earlier, AIKS delegation had met Vivek Tankha, the only Kashmiri pandit origin MP in parliament on 21 January in New Delhi and requested him to raise the issue in ongoing session of Parliament.
Vivek Tankha had raised a 3 day bill in Rajya sabha in the year 2022 on KP issues and reopening of Sharda peeth Corridor.
