J&K CM chairs high-level emergency meeting in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MAY 07 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level emergency meeting to assess the evolving security scenario in the region.
The meeting, attended by top senior officers focused on reviewing preparedness to tackle any potential contingencies. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized the need to prioritize civilian safety, strengthen infrastructure in vulnerable areas and ensure a swift, coordinated response to emerging threats.
The Chief Minister said, “People living along the LoC cannot be left to struggle on their own. The government must ensure the provision of shelters, medical facilities and uninterrupted basic amenities.”
