Govt approves construction of two Unity Malls to promote local artisans, tourism and trade: J&K CM Omar Abdullah

: Jammu and Kashmir is getting two Unity Malls, as the government has approved its construction at a cumulative cost of Rs. 255 crore. One Unity Mall is coming up each in Srinagar and Jammu.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah disclosed this on his official X handle.
The projects are aimed at providing a dedicated platform for local artisans, handloom and handicraft products, GI-tagged goods and regional entrepreneurs.
According to the officials, the landmark malls will create vibrant commercial spaces to promote tourism, trade and employment across Jammu and Kashmir.
