J&K Police orders attachment of properties of five terrorists operating from Pakistan

SRINAGAR, JULY 30 (STC): As part of the ongoing massive crackdown against terror networks, their financial resources and support structures in Jammu and Kashmir, the police issued orders to attach properties of five notorious terrorists who are carrying out their terrorist activities from Pakistan.
“This operation is a part of the ongoing crackdown against terrorist networks, their financial resources and support structures in Jammu and Kashmir, said police officials.
Sharing details of the operation on the social media platform “X”, Jammu and Kashmir Police said that Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat has issued orders to attach the properties of five notorious terrorists residing in Pakistan and carrying out terrorist activities from there.
According to the police, the said individuals have been involved in promoting terrorist activities and running their networks in Jammu and Kashmir from across the border. The move to attach properties against them is part of efforts to weaken the infrastructure of terrorism and target the financial and other support sources of terrorists.
In a separate operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police has also obtained a declaration action against Muhammad Qasim, who is active in Pakistan. According to the police, Muhammad Qasim is a key operative of Lashkar-e-Taiba and is continuing his activities from Pakistan.
According to the police, the aim of attachment of properties and other legal measures against terrorists operating from Pakistan is to disrupt the financial and support network of terrorist organizations, increase legal pressure on elements involved in terrorist activities and eliminate the support system used for terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police has made it clear that anti-terrorism operations are ongoing and strict action is being taken under the law against such elements who are involved in promoting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir from across the border, misleading the youth or providing support to terrorist networks.
