Renowned cultural activist & vocalist Waheed Jeelani underlines importance of younger generations’ role in carrying forward cultural values

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 20 (STC): Renowned vocalist, music composer and cultural promoter Ustaad Waheed Jeelani at a Conference in Srinagar highlighted the significant role of art and culture in preserving heritage, strengthening social harmony and contributing meaningfully towards a sustainable future.
He presented his paper titled “Art, Culture & Sustainability” at the prestigious Global Leaders Conference on Sustainability, Srinagar 2026, organised by EDUFAM International Academy, UAE.
Invited as a speaker and Guest of Honour, Jeelani, underlined the importance of involving younger generations in carrying forward cultural values while responding to contemporary challenges of sustainability.
