Every year on June 5, the world observes World Environment Day, a global platform established by the United Nations to encourage awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since its inception in 1973, the day has grown into the largest international environmental outreach programme, engaging governments, organizations, communities, and individuals across more than 150 countries.
The theme of World Environment Day this year once again highlights an urgent reality: humanity’s future is inseparably linked with the health of the natural world.
