J&K CM Omar Abdullah, former CM Mehbooba Mufti participate INDIA bloc meeting in New Delhi

SRINAGAR, JUNE 09 (STC): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday participated in a meeting of the INDIA Bloc, says a report. He joined the senior opposition leaders from across the country for discussions on key political and national issues.
The meeting brought together leaders of constituent parties of the opposition alliance amid continuing political developments at the national level and ahead of the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament, the report said.
It has been learned that the deliberations focused on matters of national importance, parliamentary strategy and issues expected to dominate political discourse in the coming weeks.
The meeting is reported to have also provided opposition leaders an opportunity to coordinate their approach on various political and legislative matters likely to arise during the forthcoming Parliament session.
A report quoting RJD leader and Bihar Assembly LoP Tejashwi Yadav said that there has been consensus on five issues.
Meanwhile, former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has also attended the meeting.
